摘要
The present disclosure is related to a solid suspended lubricant treatment based on the incorporation of Teflon nano-particles (100 nm to 1micra or 10 to 20 microns) with a non-ionic surfactant presenting the size of the organic chain to achieve the optimal and stable Teflon particles coating and their adhesion to the surfaces of the engine's internal metals, subject to friction, even when the engine is at rest. The amount of incorporated surfactant should be greater than the weight of the Teflon, which will be used according to the desired concentration. To avoid contamination by moisture, the precursors must receive a thermal treatment of between 30 to 50 degrees Celsius. The incorporation of the Teflon nano-particles with the non-ionic surfactant should be performed in a mineral oil by means of vigorous agitation for a period of time of between 30 to 45 minutes and between 450 and 500 rpm with a propeller type stirrer. The treatment allows improving the performance of the lubricant s used in the internal combustion engines of automobiles because reduces the friction coefficient and wear of the moving metal parts that are subject to friction. The dispersion and suspension in the mineral oil bearing the Teflon particles coated with the non-ionic surfactant, lasts three or more weeks at rest at 25°C without sedimentation. The treatment of this invention has a creamy-looking uniform white color.
