The machine of the present invention for collecting and transferring blasted coal from working face to the haulage point in bord & pillar mining, comprises a top frame structure consisting of Whitworth Quick Return Mechanism driven by a motor and having a scrapper boom attached with it on a guide rod for height adjustment of the boom. A motor driven conveying system to collect the blasted coal from the face is provided in the same vertical plane of the scrapper boom in such a way that the boom bucket is in tune with the bottom end of the conveying system. The bottom end of the conveyor is tagged with tension wire to the top frame for stability. The conveying system transfers blasted coal to a chute fixed at the base of the top frame structure. The top frame is attached with a base frame with help of stands fixed with cylindrical roller at the top end of each stand on which a slidable bracket encircling the top frame rests. The base frame is provided with another motor driven conveyor for carrying the coal pieces, falling down through the chute, to a haulage point at a safer distance. A motor with gearbox drives the second conveyor and provides angular motion to the top frame with respect to the base frame about vertical axis with the help of crown wheel and bevel gear mechanism, as per requirement. The base frame is provided with wheels for movement of the machine. The machine has the capability of loading and transfer of blasted coal from the working face, in bord & pillar mining, to the haulage point in minimum possible time in an economical manner. This machine is not only less time consuming and economically viable but eco-friendly as well.
