Present invention in general relates to design and development of a Dual Radio Frame Converter (DRFC) technique to improve throughput of IEEE 802.15.4 based wireless personal area networks. The DFRC convert the frames of IEEE 802.15.4 into IEEE 802.11 frames. Each IEEE 802.11 frame can transmit nearly 16 times more data than an IEEE 802.15.4 frame. Hence the throughput of the IEEE 802.15.4 based wireless personal are networks will be improved. Following invention is described in detail with the help of Figure 1 of sheet 1 showing Dual Radio Frame Converter, Figure 2 of sheet 1 showing conversion of IEEE 802.15.4 frame into IEEE 802.11 frame and Figure 3 of sheet 2 showing conversion of IEEE 802.11 frame into IEEE 802.15.4 frame.
