This repair scheme is used for repair of oversized diameter of Collective Bell Crank (CBC) which are worn out by the longitudinal lever (mating parts) assemble on it due to dynamic loads after flying 500 comp hours(approx.). CBC is installed on lower control system of Integrated Dynamic System of Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH).Bore use to wear out due to rubbing of longitudinal lever installed on it is during use while main rotor blade rotation. A Repair scheme is developed to repair the oversized diameter through hard anodizing. In the repair scheme Pre-machining of Bell crank bore to the required length at both ends, Crack detection check at reworked bores for any cracks. Masking of Entire component except Reworked Bore which is to be hard anodized, hard anodizing of Bore as per Standard & Repair sketch, Inspect & Polish the bore as per drawing to the required dimension. Installation of Collective Bell crank in the next Assy. This repair method has helped to repair the oversized diameter of Collective Bell Crank through hard anodizing & re-use again.
