Artificial protein Afc1 used for determination of the cell density of cyanobacteria present in environmental samples (water and others).Polyclonal or monoclonal antibodies generated against the sequence Afc1 and reverse ELISA technique using polyclonal or monoclonal directed against Afc1 the present invention refers to in silico constructionA sequence consensus rather conserved from the alignment of sequences of ficocianinas present in genomes of cyanobacteria, deposited in public databases.This sequence constructed artificially, was named Afc1.From this sequence was established in the region of better antigenicity, produce a polyclonal antibody, anti Afc1 to this region by immunization in rabbits.The effectiveness of this antibody was demonstrated in ELISA tests with samples of cultivation of cyanobacteria strains bccusp232, bccusp55, pmc7502, nplj - 4.Bc14 and environmental samples obtained from water used for human consumption and animal.
