Abstract invention patent: method and apparatus for the rapid delivery of heavy plates from a rolling mill. The present invention relates to a method and a device for rapid delivery of metal plates (21, 22) that are thick plaques of a rolling mill.The aim of the invention is to allow the safe discharge of relatively short plates (21, 22) from the mill in high speed and short cycle times.The aim is achieved by the following steps of: transport a method first plate (21) in a conveyor roll (9, 13) in the direction of transport (T), in which the first plate (21) is preferably accelerated in the direction of transport (T); storing the first plate (21) in the mat The scroll (9, 13); - carry a second plate (22) on the conveyor roller (9),(13) in the direction of transport (T); store the second plate (22) in the direction of transport before the first plate (21) in the wake of scroll (9, 13); and discharging the first and second plates (21, 22) of the scroll conveyor (9, 13) a the repository (24), in which discharge occurs in t.
