summary precipitated calcium carbonate; process for the manufacture of precipitated calcium carbonate; and; Method for the manufacture of ink, plastics, paper, plastisol, sealant or printing ink is provided dry precipitated calcium carbonate and a precipitated calcium carbonate particle paste ("pcc") at least partially in the form of elongated entities, especially of nanofibers or nanochalet type agglomerates consisting of at least two interconnected primary particles, and preferably having a scalenohedral particle content having opacifying properties. The paste can be produced at the place of use and, because of its high concentration of caco3, can be applied directly after its manufacture. 1/1
