Abstract “Methods of detecting a first plant, improving soybean plants and extending the duration of a reproductive development stage, kit for selecting at least one soybean plant and isolated polynucleotides” are provided molecular markers associated with reproductive stages of the plant. soybean, methods for using them and compositions having one or more marker loci. The methods comprise detecting at least one marker locus, detecting a haplotype, and / or detecting a marker profile. The methods may further comprise crossing a selected soybean plant with a second soybean plant. isolated polynucleotides, primers, probes, kits, systems and the like are also provided.
