Abstract invention patent: "apparatus and method for handling liquids or pastes from a process of oil or gas. The present invention relates to an apparatus (10) for removal of magnetic particles (53) of a fluid (40) which flows from an operation and method of use of oil or gas.The apparatus (10) comprises a plurality of magnetic assemblies (20), each having a first condition in which an operational part is set to attract the magnetic particles (53) for the magnetic assembly (20), and a second condition in which the operational part is inactive And the magnetic particles (53) are not attracted to the magnetic assembly (20).A drive unit (13) moves the magnetic assemblies (20) between exposure to a path of flow of a liquid (40) that flows from an operation of an oil or gas and a collection site (54). An activation device (36) moves the magnetic assemblies (20) between the first condition and the second condition.
