Auto-stereoscopic display device and method of operation of an auto-stereoscopic display device The invention provides a self-stereoscopic display device in which a light locking arrangement is provided for selectively blocking light that has passed or would pass between lenses. elements are provided between adjacent lens locations, and the display device may be configured such that light striking these elements is not so much allowed to reach the viewer as it is blocked to not reach the viewer.
