A control method in a job processing apparatus includes storing a job such that the job is associated with a user, storing, identification information for identifying the user associated with a job that has not been successfully stored, and notifying the user that the job has not been stored according to login to the job processing apparatus, by the user, in a case where identification information for identifying the user having logged in to the job processing apparatus has been stored.
