PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve MPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking) control for preventing the reception of an influence of noise as much as possible, and for quickly catching the maximum power point even when an amount of solar radiation changes.SOLUTION: The maximum power point tracking control device includes: a DC/DC converter 2 connected to a photovoltaic power generation panel 1; and a control part 5 for controlling the DC/DC converter 2 as a device for drawing the maximum power at a current point of time on the basis of the output of the photovoltaic power generation panel. The control part 5 is configured to perform rough adjustment and fine adjustment in accordance with the size of step width for changing currents flowing through the DC/DC converter 2. The control part 5 performs MPPT control to approach the maximum power point with the rough adjustment, and to catch the maximum power point with the fine adjustment when the change of a voltage against the change of the currents exceeds a threshold. Under the MPPT control by the control part 5, when the change of the voltage exceeds the threshold with the fine adjustment, the fine adjustment is returned to the rough adjustment.
