PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting diode lighting device capable of simple wiring.;SOLUTION: The light-emitting diode lighting device comprises: a light emitting diode 11; a lighting circuit 21 for lighting the light emitting diode 11; a thermosensitive resistor 31 disposed adjacent to the light emitting diode 11; an identification resistance 32 having a resistance value according to the rated current of the light emitting diode 11 and constituting a resistance circuit 3 together with the thermosensitive resistor 31; and a control circuit 22 that controls the lighting circuit 21. The control circuit 22 determines the rated current of the light emitting diode 11 based on the resistance value of the resistance circuit 3 before starting the lighting of the light emitting diode 11, and during the lighting of the light emitting diode 11, controls the output current I of the lighting circuit 21 within a range not exceeding the rated current according to the temperature estimated from the resistance value of the resistance circuit 3. Compared to the case where the thermosensitive resistor 31 and the identification resistance 32 are connected to the control circuit 22 via a separate wiring, the wiring can be made simple.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
