PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic characteristic measuring device of a planetary gear mechanism capable of accurately measuring the engagement point of a planetary gear mechanism.SOLUTION: A dynamic characteristic measuring device 100 of a planetary gear mechanism 50 includes: a carrier support tool 130 for supporting a carrier 61 instead of a case 70; a strain gauge 151x attached onto a claw part 61A; a strain gauge 151y orthogonal to a strain gage 151x and attached onto the claw part 61A; and a controller 150 for calculating a load acting on the carrier 61. The controller 150 calculates "correlation between a strain amount and a load" with a load acting on the claw part 61A of the carrier 61, a strain amount x of the strain gauge 151x, and a strain amount y of the strain gauge 151y, drives a drive motor 110 and a load motor 120 so that a ring gear 53 and a sun gear 51 are synchronized, and calculates the load acting on the claw part 61A of the carrier 61 on the basis of the strain amount x of the strain gauge 151x, the strain amount y of the strain gauge 151y, and the "correlation between the strain amount and the load".
