PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a simulation taking into account the reflection of individual elements and yet suppress a calculation load.SOLUTION: A thermal environment simulator 10 comprises a division unit 13, a classification unit 14, a first calculation unit 151, a second calculation unit 152, a storage unit 12, an alteration unit 16, and a third calculation unit 153. The classification unit 14 separates a plurality of individual elements into a plurality of first elements X1 directly subject to thermal energy entering a room 20 due to radiation from the outside and a plurality of second elements X2 subject to thermal energy by radiation from other individual elements. The second calculation unit 152 finds a shape factor that is a geometric relation with each of the plurality of individual elements and the plurality of second elements X2. The storage unit 12 stores the plurality of second elements X2 in correlation to the shape factor. When the alteration unit 16 changes an incident condition, the third calculation unit 153 uses the shape factor stored by the storage unit 12 for individual elements that are separated into the first elements X1 in common before and after the alteration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
