In the formula (1) indicating that N=min(N, N), N=αN+N+&bgr;N, N=&sgr;×A, N: resistance (kN) of the steel base column, N: resistance (kN) of the steel base column, N: resistance (kN) of the steel base column, N: adhesion resistance (kN) caused between the steel column and the steel base column, N: bearing resistance (kN) caused between the steel column and the steel base column, N: stud resistance (kN), α, &bgr;: coefficients, &sgr;: allowable compressive stress (kN/m) of concrete, and A: a cross sectional area (m) of the steel base column.
