PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control method of a coal gasification combined power generation plant capable of reducing influence due to a soot blower actuation to stabilize heat recovery boiler generation steam, and provide the coal gasification combined power generation plant.SOLUTION: An evaporator circulation flow rate in a heat recovery boiler is controlled to suppress the fluctuation of the evaporation amount of the heat recovery boiler. For example, a fuel gas temperature measurement device for measuring a gas temperature is provided at the evaporator gas side outlet of the heat recovery boiler, a circulation water temperature measurement device for measuring a circulation water temperature is provided at the evaporator circulation water side inlet thereof, and the evaporator circulation flow rate is controlled so that temperature difference between the gas temperature and the circulation water temperature gets close to a temperature difference setting value.
