PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical path loss analysis method and an optical path loss analysis device capable of measuring a link loss from a station building up to a user device from an end thereof in a PON (passive optical network) type branch optical path.SOLUTION: An optical path loss analysis method and an optical path loss analysis device according to the present invention is configured to calculate a link loss by removing a return loss at the other end (user device side, far end) of a test optical path from a total loss when a ray of light entering from one end (station building side) returns the test optical path. That is, the optical path loss analysis method and the optical path loss analysis device according to the present invention can identify a return loss from the station building up to a user device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
