PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrite particle having largely suppressed generation of carrier scattering or memory image when used for a core material of a resin coated carrier of an electrophotography type image forming device.;SOLUTION: There is provided a ferrite particle represented by a composition formula MnXFe3-XO4, where 0X1, containing Sr element of 0.4 mass% to 0.5 mass%, Si element of 0.01 mass% to 0.09 mass% and having maximum height of the particle Rz in a range of 1.40 μm to 1.90 μm and standard deviation of Rz, σ in a range of 0.65 μm to 0.80 μm.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
