PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel Capsicum annuum plant having the releasability of fruits.;SOLUTION: The present invention is a Capsicum annuum plant characterized by having the releasability of fruits in maturation period and being a cultivar. The invention is a method of producing a Capsicum annuum plant which has the releasability of fruits in maturation period and is a cultivar, the method comprising: crossing, as a mother plant, a Capsicum annuum plant of a cultivar with, as a father plant, a Capsicum annuum plant having the releasability of fruits in maturation period to obtain an F1 hybrid; back-crossing the Capsicum annuum plant of a cultivar with the F1 hybrid and repeating the back-crossing at least twice; and selecting individuals having the releasability of fruits in maturation period among the obtained generations.;SELECTED DRAWING: None;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
