PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a striking force restriction and vibration alleviation device which is capable of alleviating vibrations particularly due to striking and thus maintaining high stability in use, and features ease of maintenance.SOLUTION: A striking force restriction and vibration alleviation device according to the present invention comprises a main body, a striking member, and a resilient member. The main body is an elongated rod body with its one end including a coupling portion having a coupling hole and with a grip portion near the other end. The striking member is movably mounted to the coupling portion of the main body. The resilient member is installed between the coupling portion of the main body and the striking member, contacts the striking member, and sets a desired resilience on compression. Upon being struck, the striking member moves toward the main body to compress the resilient member, and the user determines the degree of compression of the resilient member to restrict the striking force to be larger or smaller than the resilience of the resilient member, thus providing the effect of the restriction of striking force to the user. The resilient member also alleviates the reaction force from the striking member to delay the recoil and to reduce vibrations as well as to reduce consumption of energy.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
