PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve degradation of sorting efficiency due to separation of intervals between fruit vegetables supplied irregularly and measurement problems due to contact between fruit vegetables.;SOLUTION: A fruit vegetables transfer handover method of the present invention is the method for supplying fruit vegetables transported at unequal intervals to a transfer path of a downward slope, reducing intervals between the fruit vegetables by moving the fruit vegetables supplied to the transfer path with own weight toward the termination side of the transfer path, and transporting the fruit vegetables arriving at the termination side of the transfer path to the other party of the handover body by taking over one by one with a handover body disposed in the other party of the transfer path. The fruit vegetables transfer handover device of the present invention includes the transfer path where the fruit vegetables can move and the handover body for taking over the fruit vegetables moved to the transfer path. The transfer path is made into a downward slope so that the fruit vegetables can move by own weight and the intervals can be reduced.
