PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that evaluates brush characters written by a learner and feeds back the same to the learner.;SOLUTION: A calligraphy learning support device includes: example image data representing an example brush character image prepared in advance; a storage part for storing example data including example brush moving data representing the movement of a brush for writing an example brush character; a brush character image data generation part for generating evaluation object brush character image data by reading an image of the evaluation object brush character which is a brush character of the evaluation object; a brush movement estimation part for estimating the movement of the brush at the time of writing the brush character based on the evaluation object brush character image data and representing the movement of the brush at the time of writing the estimated brush character; and guidance information generation part for generating guidance information for writing the example brush character using the example brush data and the estimation brush movement data by comparing the movement of the brush for writing the example brush character and the movement of the brush at the time of writing the estimated evaluation object brush character.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
