A device (D) is dedicated to controlling the transmission of response messages, generated by a slave device (OE1) belonging to a first LIN network (R1) and managed by a management device (OG), to a second network (R2). This device (D) is arranged, each time the slave device (OE1) needs to transmit a segment of a response message, so as to trigger the transmission of a header of a conditional frame from the management device (OG) to the slave device (OE1) in order for it to complete same with this segment and transmit it during a time frame dedicated thereto that observes the minimum duration, then to trigger the immediate transmission of this completed conditional frame by the management device (OG) to the second communication network (R2), and so on until all the segments of the response message have been transmitted to the second network (R2).
