The digging tool (4) comprises a ground digging tooth (20), a tooth mounting bracket, adapted to be permanently attached to a tunneling cutter head, and a screw (30) for removable attachment of the tooth to the support; In order that the assembly and fixing of the tooth are efficient and fast, as well as simple to implement, the tooth is provided with a thread in which is screwed a thread (34) of the screw, the thread and this thread being designed for, by screwing-unscrewing, maintaining the tooth and the screw secured to one another while passing the digging tool between a disassembled configuration, in which the screw does not interfere with the support in one direction ( D) of disengagement of the tooth from the support, this disengagement direction being transverse to the central axis of the tapping, and a mounted configuration, in which the screw interferes with the support in the disengagement direction to block the tooth relative to at the support, while in the directions other than the direction of clearance, the tooth is in direct mechanical engagement with the support.
