A car radio (ar) is fitted to a vehicle (v) and includes a tuner (t) adapted to search for data representative of the radio stations accessible in a place which is located the vehicle (v), and of the control means (mc) arranged to trigger a search for the information by the tuner (t) when the latter (t) is not used, in order to update a list of radio stations accessible locally and to put this list of the arrangement of the passenger (s) of the vehicle (v).
