The present invention relates to the lubrication of a bearing (18a, 18b), in particular of a rolling bearing. In order to the bearing (18a, 18b) insensitive to lack of lubricant or irregular care of a lead with simultaneous retention of its mechanical performance is to render at least one bearing part of the bearing (18a, 18b) at least partially provided with a oleophilic adhesion promoter layer. The intermediate adhesive layer binds a lubricant layer of the bearing (18a, 18b) to the bearing part, which is provided with the adhesion promoter layer. The intermediate adhesive layer is in this case to an elementary iron free surface of a bearing part body bound. The removal of free iron from the bearing part body surface is preferably carried out with nitric acid, chromate solution and / or citric acid. As a whole, the treated bearing part a oleophilic corrosion protection - adhesion promoter layer.
