Testing device for checking of the functionally relevant features of disk brake linings for rail vehicles, characterised in that it is for the storing and the positioning of a brake pad (12 or 22)– a planar base plate (11 or 21) with a clamping device for positioning of the brake lining (12);– a plurality of parallel to the plane of the adjustable dial gauges (15 or 25) with– adjustable perpendicular to the plane of the scanners (15.1 or 25.1),– for the positioning of the dial gauges (15 or 25) at least one adjustment aid (18 or 30),– the with centring points (18.1 or 30.1) for the positionally correct positioning of the measuring probe (15.1 or 25.1) is provided, and– a clamping device for accurate positioning and clamping of the adjustment aid (18 or 30) contains.
