A process for the preparation of a concrete element with a surface provided with ornament, comprising the steps of:(i) providing a casing (10),(ii) applying a web material (12), which is of a wallpaper and / or a structure web and a three-dimensional ornament structure (14) on the formwork (10),(iii) introduction of fresh concrete (16) into the formwork (10), so that the fresh concrete (16) with the web material (12) comes into contact,(iv) hardening of the concrete (16) and(v) removal of the formwork (10),wherein at least one three-dimensional pattern element on an upper side of the concrete (16) facing surface of the web material (12) and / or between the web material (12) and the formwork (10) is provided,characterized by the,that the three-dimensional pattern element is formed from an adhesive film.
