A forest ginseng of the present invention contains enhanced contents of ginsenoside and crude saponin compared to the conventional forest ginseng and ginseng having grown for the equivalent number of years, and thus exhibits far improved liver function and brain function improving effects, analgesic effect, blood pressure regulating effect and anti-fatigue effect. A cultivation method of the forest ginseng, according to the present invention, utilizes flesh-containing forest ginseng berries as forest ginseng seedlings and cultivates on a cultivation soil that includes eco-friendly soil modifier and eco-friendly insecticide, therefore, without using pesticide and fertilizers, the cultivation method of the present invention shows superior germination rate than the prior art stratified ginseng seeds, and fast growth rate in which 80% or more of the forest ginseng seedlings reach the selection criteria to be a forest ginseng sapling only within 1-2 years of cultivation time, and moreover, 90% of the forest ginsengs, planted in the forest ginseng cultivation site, grow to be a marketable produce weighing 8-10 g. Accordingly, the present invention provides a forest ginseng having a superior invigorating effect, and a cultivation method of the forest ginseng, which has the advantages of being environmentally friendly and requiring a short cultivation time. Therefore, the present invention is expected to replace the prior art ginseng and forest ginseng, and cultivation method thereof.
