The present invention relates to a method for analyzing a technology by using a patent document. The method comprises: a step of extracting words from patent documents to be analyzed through a text mining method; a step of performing a social network analysis of the extracted words by using an international patent classification (IPC) code; a step of extracting keywords from the extracted words; and a step of selecting important patents by using a result of the social network analysis and the extracted key words. Accordingly, an objective and precise patent analysis is possible, as an objective technology evaluation result is able to be provided to reduce a risk of a technology transfer, technology financing and so forth.
