The present invention relates to a method for specifically detecting vancomycin-resistant enterococci using vancomycin-resistant enterococci-specific primers and probes, and a diagnostic kit using the method. The method of the present invention can be applied to a multiplexer using a target gene (specifically, vancomycin resistance gene ( vanA , vanB ), D-alanine-D-alanine ligase ( ddl ) gene, 16S rRNA) Time PCR (multiplex real-time polymerase chain reaction), vancomycin-resistant enterococci can be detected with very high efficiency. In addition, the kit of the present invention can easily and efficiently detect target genes in a sample through multiplex real-time PCR. Therefore, the method and kit of the present invention can easily detect the infection of a sample of vancomycin-resistant enterococci in a sample, and can be applied to the treatment of diseases more accurately based thereon.
