The present invention relates to a clinical trial subject identification method to generate a clinical trial subject identification number according to a subject status of clinical trial and a method thereof. A clinical trial subject identification system of the present invention extracts specific works from a clinical trial protocol, generates code information in response to the extracted specific words, generates rule information corresponding to an authentication method suitable for the statuses of clinical trial subjects, selects one of the generated rule information, provide identification number data from the code information to which the rule information is applied to a clinical trial subject terminal, and collects and processes clinical trial data for clinical trial service. According to the present invention, whether the clinical trial data is collected from the clinical trial subject can be checked and highly reliable clinical trial data can be collected by collecting clinical trial data from the clinical trial subject terminal which has received the identification number.
