In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a database for managing a partitioned table includes a general table reproduction part for decomposing a plurality of partitions managed according to a partition key value into individual partition units, and regenerating each of the disassembled partitions as a general table; a partition table generating part for collecting a plurality of general tables to generate a single partition table; and an index reconstructing part for modifying the index of the regenerated general table or a generated partition table.
