In the present specification, a digital device and a method of processing application data in the digital device are disclosed. Herein, the digital device according to an embodiment of the present invention processes an application by comprising: a memory; an interface to receive a first signal that requests menu display and a second signal that requests execution of a second application from a displayed menu; a control unit to control the second application to download application data of the second application from a server before the second signal is received and store the application data in the memory if the second application requested to be executed in accordance with the second signal is a preload application; and a display unit to display an execution screen of the first application and the requested menu on the execution screen of the first application, and display an execution screen of the second application on the screen in accordance with the second signal.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
