According to one embodiment of the present specification, a map-matching method may comprise: a step of estimating a current location from an initial location of a user based on a movement information for a movement of a user obtained from a movement sensor, and a direction information for the direction of the user obtained from a direction sensor; a step of determining whether a moving route between an initial location and an estimated current location is valid based on at least one characteristic information of a map showing an indoor region in which the user is located, and correcting the current location estimated in accordance with the determination resu and a step of displaying the corrected current location on the map. Herein, the characteristic information of a map may comprise at least one of a node information for nodes showing a specific location on the map, link information for links connecting each of the nodes, and space division information which spatially divides a region on the map. The present invention is designed to provide a mapping method and a device to provide an accurate pedestrian indoor navigation by correcting the location of the user estimated based on pedestrian dead reckoning (PDR) indoors.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
