摘要

A smart device for providing a location based service using an electronic shelf label (ESL) signal comprises: a signal conversion module receiving the ESL signal from ESL tags of products displayed in a store, converting the ESL signal to transmit the converted ESL signal to a mobile terminal of a user, and receiving a location signal of the mobile terminal from the mobile terminal; and a service provision unit providing a location based service of a product depending on a user location by using the location signal of the mobile terminal and the ESL signal provided by the signal conversion unit module. Accordingly, the smart device is able to provide user convenience and obtain a promotion effect and an advertisement effect in a large market or a department store.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
