摘要
The present invention relates to a method for controlling initial ignition of a water heater for stable supply of hot water, comprising: a step of resetting a flow rate (W) value, which is previously stored in a storage device, to zero if determined that a user starts using hot water after a control part checks output of a flow rate detecting sensor installed on a hot water pipe outlet; a step of detecting and memorizing a flow rate (W) of hot water used by the user in real time; a step of calculating the amount of integrated flow rate (Wn) by continuously integrating the flow rate (W) of hot water used by the user, which is detected and memorized in real time; a step of returning to the step of detecting and memorizing the flow rate (W) of hot water used by the user in real time to repetitively carry out subsequent steps if the amount of integrated flow rate (Wn) is smaller than a heat exchanger capacity (L) of the water heater after determining whether the amount of integrated flow rate (Wn) is smaller than the heat exchanger capacity (L) of the water heater; a step of igniting a burner by an igniter if the amount of integrated flow rate (Wn) is bigger than the heat exchanger capacity (L) of the water heater; and a step of proportionally controlling a combustion amount of the burner if normal ignition is detected by a flame detecting sensor. Accordingly, a required heat quantity can accurately be supplied because realization of a feed water temperature is stably carried out, and a high feed water temperature is accurately checked. Thus, boiling can perfectly be prevented when hot water is initially used, and hot water can stably be supplied to users, thereby greatly improving marketability of the water heater and reliability in respect of hot water provision.
