The present invention relates to a method for labeling and tracking stem cells outside a living body/ inside the living body by using a multi-image method. The method generates sialic acid having an azide group on a surface of a target stem cell by using metabolic sugar chain operation and treating unnatural sugar protein on the stem cell. In addition, the method uses a nanoparticle for inducing the corresponding group specifically bonded by the induced azide group and bioorthogonal and copper-free click chemistry.
