The present invention relates to a system and a method for finding a lost mobile phone. The system for finding a lost mobile phone: automatically reports loss of a mobile phone and detects a location of the lost mobile phone by rapid data exchange between a finder′s mobile phone and the lost mobile phone; displays a current location of a finder and a processing status of the lost mobile phone or location information of all stores such as convenience stores, communications service provider agencies, post boxes, and post offices which are close to the display screen of the finder′s mobile phone and can receive the lost mobile phone on the map to guide the location; displays an appreciation text related to reward payment for appreciation; scans information of the finder′s phone; receives input of a finder′s name, an account number, a phone number and so on used to transfer the reward for appreciation, and checks and stores the same; and transfers the reward to a mobile communications service provider, finder′s emergency contact information, a mobile phone care center, each communications service provider agencies, a server for managing a 24-hour unmanned package receiving apparatus, and the finder′s mobile phone for completion.
