The present invention relates to a convenient low-salt red pepper paste containing a Chrysanthemum indicum flower extract, and a method for producing the same. The low-salt red pepper paste includes a Chrysanthemum indicum flower extract, so a content of sodium is low compared to red pepper paste being purchased in the market. Moreover, the low-salt red pepper paste having functionality of a Chrysanthemum indicum flower is provided, thereby preventing chronic diseases and contributing to improve consumers health. Furthermore, a method for conveniently and easily producing red pepper paste is provided compared to a conventional method for producing red pepper paste, so low-salt red pepper paste may be easily produced and used at home or for communal feeding.
