The present invention relates to a learning method for recognizing a transportation system based on sound data, which enables determination of a type of the transportation system taken by a user based on sound data of the surrounding of the user and to a method and an apparatus for recognizing a transportation system based on sound data by using the same. More specifically, reference information for determining a type of a transportation system can be learned through machine learning, based on a pattern of unique frequency spectrum included in the sound generated by a particular transportation system which is independent from the sounds only existing in particular times, such as a horn sound and sounds generated when a door opens and closes, or when accelerated or decelerated, etc. The sound of the transportation system taken by the user is compared based on the learned reference information to enable determination of a type of the transportation system.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
