Disclosed are an entity identifier for managing biological genetic resources and an entity identification method using the entity identifier. The device comprises: an RFID tag; and a power supply unit to supply power to the RFID tag. The body unit includes an RFID chip wherein an identification number and a tag serial number of the management target organism are encoded; a plurality of sensors to sense bio information of the management target organism and surrounding environment information; a hole formed from the upper side to the lower side to insert the sensors; a position sensor to sense whether the body unit is separated from the RFID tag or not; and a wireless communication unit to receive the identification number, the tag serial number, the bio information, and the surrounding environment information and transfer the same to the outside. Therefore, according to the present invention, the entity identifier is not influenced by a surrounding environment change when information of the biological genetic resources is recorded, prevents misconception and confusion caused by a handwriting difference of a label writing person, and manages high security by encoding entity identification information of the biological genetic resources and tag information. Moreover, data accumulation is easy with the DB construction of the biological genetic resources and record history reading and searching are easy in investigation and management.
