The present invention relates to a method for checking an insulation condition of a stator winding of a fed-driven motor. The method, according to the present invention, comprises the following steps of: switching a switching device alternately according to V(0,0,0) and V(1,1,1) vectors to have a certain duty ratio; calculating average terminal voltage and average output current of the motor; calculating an insulation resistance value of the motor is calculated from the average terminal voltage and the average output current; outputting a warning signal, when if the calculated insulation resistance value is the same as a reference value or less, the insulation state is determined to be inappropriate. The method for checking an insulation condition of a stator winding of an inverter-driven motor can be performed by adding a program only without changing a commercial inverter circuit or using an additional component, and thus can be applied for multiple purposes.
