METHOD FOR REMOVING PPCPS MICROPOLLUTANTS FROM SECONDARY SETTLING TANK WASTEWATER

A method for removing PPCPs micropollutants secondary settling tank wastewater. The secondary settling tank wastewater is urban wastewater after secondary settling tank treatment by an effluent treatment plant. The method includes the following operations: introducing, by using a manner of bottom microporous aeration, mixture gas of O2 and O3 in which a volume percentage of O3 is 5% to 10% to an ozone contactor (4) in which a cathode (5) and an anode (7) are disposed at the bottom, where a direct-current power supply (10) is connected at two ends of an electrode; and while the mixture gas is being introduced, adding, to the ozone contactor (4), PPCPs containing water body to be treated, where the duration that the water stays is 10 s to 40 min, and discharging the water body in real time. Further disclosed is an application of the method in preparation of drinking water. Compared with a conventional method, the method does not need an additional chemical agent, and therefore flocculation and secondary pollution do not occur. Because an electrical field and a voltage are applied, the current density is low, and there is no potential safety hazard, so that actual application is easy, and PPCPs in water body can be effectively removed.
