Disclosed are an interoffice telephone system using LTE (long term evolution) Enterprise Gateway (LEG) in an LTE radio resource release state and an interoffice telephone method. An interoffice telephone system, according to the present invention, comprises: an ultra-small base station for mediating, when connected to an LTE terminal registered in an interoffice network, packet communication of the interoffice network between the LTE terminal and an LEG and for transmitting, when radio resource connection is released, a paging request to the LTE terminal; and an LEG for setting a number, with respect to the ultra-small base station, for an LTE terminal which has been authenticated through the interoffice network, mediating number connection among interoffice terminals through the ultra-small base station, determining, for the determined interoffice network communication, whether or not the radio resource connection is to be released, requesting paging to the LTE terminal with respect to the determined connection release by using paging-related information of pre-stored LTE terminal, thereby providing interoffice network-based packet communication. The present invention performs paging, when radio resource is released, with respect to the LTE terminal, thereby providing interoffice network communication service among interoffice terminals for free of charge.
