The invention relates to an improved hydraulic unit for extraction equipment, comprising a hydraulic system interconnected to a down-hole oil extraction pump, which is used to supply the hydraulic energy required for the operation of the down-hole extraction pump; and a control system that controls the operation of the hydraulic system, which is used to monitor, register, control and modify all of the parameters required for the correct operation and running of the improved hydraulic unit together with the down-hole oil extraction pump, where the down-hole extraction pump is interconnected to the improved hydraulic unit by means of an interconnection element.
