A method for recommending a course in online education, comprising: a server acquires capability data of a user; the server selects a course for the user according to the capability data of the user and a preset correspondence between capabilities and courses; and the server sends the course selected for the user. Also disclosed is a device for recommending a course in online education. The present invention implements a personalized service for a user.
