Receiver (120) for receiving payload data (112-m) transmitted from a transmitter (110-m) to the receiver (120) via unidirectional communication to the receiver (120) over a time interval T by means of a plurality of packets of encoded channel data (210-n), the receiver not comprising the return channel leading to the transmitter (110-m) to cause the transmitter to repeatedly transmit a packet of encoded channel data (210-2) in if the decoding of the payload data has failed, each of the coded channel data packets (210-n) comprising the main packet data (212-n) corresponding to a packet identification of the respective coded channel data packet, and the main packet data (212-n) being coded with a redundancy channel code higher than the payload data (112-m), comprising: means (RX) for receiving the plurality of packages of coded channel data (210-n) in the time interval (T); and a decoder (DEC) adapted to decode the main packet data (212-1) of a first coded channel data packet received (210-1) from the time interval (T), and, in the event of a failure of Error-free decoding of the first coded channel data packet (210-1), to decode the main packet data (212-2) of at least a second coded channel data packet received (210-2) from the interval of time (T) to determine a suitable additional coded channel data packet (210-2) of the time interval for combination with the first coded channel data packet (210-1) to obtain, due to the combination, a gain of increased code for decoding of payload data (112-m); characterized in that the decoder (DEC) is configured to determine and use information about a specific deviation of the transmitter (| fc, nom-fc, m |) of a real transmission frequency of the transmitter (110-m) from a frequency of nominal transmission (fc.nom) to decode the main packet data (212-2) of the at least second coded channel data packet (210-2) of the transmitter (110-m) and of the time interval (T), so that the encoded channel data packets received with the specific deviation of the transmitter (| fc, nom-fc, mr |) can be associated with the transmitter (110-m).
