the present invention describes the production and purification of extracellular polysaccharide, named eps22, produced by a strain of pseudomonas stutzeri as22, isolated from soil in the region of sfax. it also relates to the use of this substance in the field cosmu00e9to pharmaceutical as a wound healing agent.more specifically, it describes the evaluation in a rat experimental model of business model, the eps22 heal skin wounds on the mechanically induced wound healing in comparison with a reference, the cicaflorau00bb.our interest in the application of the eps22 is motivated by its structural characteristics but also its appearance of gel and its antioxidant power quite interesting. the structural analysis shows that there is a hu00e9tu00e9ropolysaccharide, high molecular weight, highly acetylated and the glucose and mannose sugars constituting the majority.the rheological characterization showed that the eps22 of this invention has a gelling power, and is present in a concentration of 0.5% in the form of a gel to useful mechanical properties. this feature it is an asset for a u00e9ventuelie application in the formulation of the gels for dermatological use.the identification, in vitro antioxidant activities on some tests of dpph, reducing power and chelating showed a protective effect against oxidative stress, could enhance the repair process of wound healing.evaluation in vivo in a rat experimental model of business model, the eps22 heal, applied in the form of a gel, mechanically induced wounds on the skin wound healing agent, has shown a promising.the results obtained with the chromaticity and histological analysis showed a complete closure of the wounds treated with the hydrogel eps22 after 12 days with a tissue regeneration step, characterized by the presence of strata, well organized and the epi dermis the dermis.
